Pamarco enhances Atlanta facility with laser technology

An Applied Laser Engineering installation will enable engraving configurations of 35 to 1,500 lines per inch and beyond.

An ever-growing customer base and an increasing demand for quality anilox rolls have led Pamarco to invest once again in the latest in laser technology for its Atlanta, GA, USA anilox facility. This installation, along with an expansion in upstream processes, will take place during the second quarter of 2016. With this addition, the company’s Flexo Division will have increased capacity to continue meeting the needs of its customers.

In order to increase quality and efficiency for its customers, and in collaboration with Applied Laser Engineering, this new equipment is outfitted with the latest hardware and software technology to produce a vast range of engraving configurations from 35 to 1500 lines per inch and beyond. John Burgess, president of Pamarco’s Flexo Division, says, “As we celebrate our 70th anniversary and reflect on the past and look to the future, investments like this are what ensure our leadership in the packaging industry.
